Weekend Live Music Scene June 7

Here are the editor’s picks for live music shows June 7 -9, 2018:

Thursday, June 7: The second installment of Independent Racket Nights takes place at Fletch’s Local Tap House with 4 bands and no cover.  The night opens at 7:30pm with a Noell Kaylene, followed by the Wisconsin Magic.  Visiting from Appleton is Tyler & the Streeters for their first Oshkosh show in a long time, and first with the current ensemble.  Closing out the evening is Nordlund, who is playing his final Oshkosh show before departing for Michigan.  Bare Bones beers will be served.  Visit Oshkosh Music for more, or check out the event on FB.

Friday, June 8:  The Reptile Palace is hosting Bourbon House from Wausau with Fools & Lovers (Oshkosh).  We haven’t seen either band before, but checking out new music at the Reptile is always a good thing.

You should seriously consider directing your attention towards the Electric City Experience in Kaukauna this weekend.  Friday evening includes sets from The Haunted Heads, the Redhawks, Redshift Headlights, Leading the Blind, Kyle Megna & the Monsoons, Ifdakar, Horace Greene, Cold Soda Club, and the Mascot Theory.

Similar to Friday, Kaukauna and the Electric City Experience will be hosting a fabulous outdoor festival on Saturday, with a slew of bands including Copper Box, Janet Planet, The Jazz Orgy, the Oshkosh Rhythm Institute, The Swinging Johnsons, More then Merry, Jason Moon, Sheamus Fitzpatrick & the McNally Boys, Auralai, and Feed the Dog.
