Here are the editor’s picks for live music shows June 14-17, 2018:
Thursday, June 14: Barley & Hops hosts the Fox Valley acoustic folk duo Natural Satellite. Show starts at 8pm.
Friday, June 15: It is a light evening on the announced original live music scene in Oshkosh, so we are turning our interest to other activities and other communities. Menominee Nation is hosting Jeff Foxworthy at 7:30pm.
The Thrasher Opera House is hosting the Free Land Film Festival, with Friday being the kickoff celebration. They will be screening the Last Animals (a story about an extraordinary group of people who go to all lengths to save the planet’s last animals) at 7pm, with Director Kate Brooks on site.
The Jersey Street Music Fest is also happening this weekend down in Discher Park in Horicon. Friday eve includes Ian Ash, Suck the Honey, Lemon Sky, and Revolution Day. The event has a loaded lineup on Saturday too.
Saturday, June 16: Irish music day over at Irish Fest. Gaelic Storm, Skerryvore and Tallymoore take the main stage at the Leach. The event runs June 15-17 – see more at Oshkosh Irish Fest.
Sunday, June 17: Jason Moon and Jason Lipsky team up for a reunion show at Beckets. The duo will likely sing a good dose of raw and heavy acoustic ballads, mixed with witty humor and references to past Oshkosh days. An early start time of 5pm means this family friendly event will fit in well with your father’s day plans.

- The Grand Opera House is kicking off their new season June 19 with a party.
