Voting 101: April 7, 2020 Primary

Dr. James Krueger of the UW Oshkosh Political Science Department and I delivered a “Voting 101” workshop for campus undergraduates a few weeks ago. The event was sponsored by the campus’ American Democracy Project chapter and Next Generation Wisconsin, a civic engagement organization. I decided to make my slides into a short video. It simply identifies what Oshkosh residents will see on their ballot on April 7th.

Some states have delayed primary elections in an effort to respond to the corona virus crisis. Wisconsin has not yet announced any delay. Even if a delay does happen, the ballot should still look the same when the election does occur.

Hope everyone is staying well and sane during what is an extraordinarily difficult time for our community, state, nation, and world. –TP
