UW Oshkosh’s 24th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Community Celebration


The community celebration honors the life, service, and legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

The celebration will feature a keynote address by Dr. Elfred A. Pinkard, the 22nd President at Wilberforce University in Wilberforce, Ohio. Dr. Pinkard has spent his entire career ensuring the academic success of students at historically black colleges and universities. The keynote is entitled: “Keeping the Dream Alive: America’s Promise.”

This event is free and open to the public; however, registration is required. The event will be complemented with a medley of hors d’oeuvres prior to the start of the program.
