UW Oshkosh Football hosts Wartburg College in NCAA D3 quarterfinals


UW Oshkosh (11-0) hosts undefeated Wartburg College (12-0) today at Titan Stadium, with kickoff at noon.

D3football.com suggests that this will be a high scoring affair featuring two of the most efficient quarterbacks in the nation.  They place the odds for the UW-Oshkosh Titans to advance at 91%.

The game will take place at Titan Stadium in Oshkosh (450 Josslyn St) beginning at noon. Tickets are: Adult $10; Senior Citizen (55 or older) $8; Student (K-12, College) $6.

UW-Oshkosh finished their regular season unbeaten 9-0 overall and 7-0 in WIAC play, winning their second WIAC title in three years.  Last season they made the championship final, falling 10-7 to Mary Hardin-Baylor.  This year’s championship bracket is set up where the two teams could meet again in the championship if both win out.
