UW-Oshkosh Football clinches WIAC title, bid to D3 national tournament

With a 31-0 victory over UW-Stout, the UW-Oshkosh football team finished their regular season unbeaten 9-0 overall and 7-0 in WIAC play, winning their second WIAC title in three years.  The team has also received a bid to the national championship tournament, earning the equivalent of a 1 seed and playing 8-2 Lakeland.  Games begin next Saturday, Nov. 18, with UW-Oshkosh playing at home.

The Titans have established themselves as a conference powerhouse, winning 23 of their last 24 conference games and have finished top 3 in the last seven seasons.

In 2016, the Titans played their way into the national championship game before falling 10-7.

After this season, the Titans will lose their starting quarterback as well as their leading rusher and receiver.  The head coach of the Titans is Pat Cerroni.
