The Howard, a visual tour

Renovations at The Howard have continued as excitement builds for 2018 re-opening of this iconic Oshkosh treasure.  Formerly called the Eagles Club and located at 405 Washington Avenue, The Howard team has shared a preview of just a a small sampling of the character and craftsmanship present.  Take a look!

Howard 1: The vestibule to the Grand Ballroom. While this isn’t a main area of the building – it serves as an entrance to the Ballroom and the lower level bowling alley.

Howard 2: The Grand Ballroom.  The impact fresh paint, chandeliers, and draperies will have on this space is sure to be remarkable

Howard 3: There are numerous features of this historic building that make it remarkable – like this stunning ceiling. The big change happening soon won’t affect these dramatic details. The countdown is on though…only 9 days left until it’s revealed! Follow us to keep in the loop!

Howard 4: Fine detail Friday…moldings like these in the grand ballroom help to saturate this entire building in character and beauty. Details like these will be preserved and restored throughout the renovation process.

Howard 5: Beauty and craftsmanship still shine bright in this nearly century-old fixture, which is one of several that sit between the wood beams gracing the foyer ceiling.

Howard 6:  The original stained glass window that now highlights the new coffee and juice bar cafe.

Howard 7: The great hall, which is available for private event rentals and we will be hosting many events such as wine dinners and musical acts.
