Robbery occurred at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh campus at 8:40 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14.
Two suspects were involved in the robbery, which took place at Reeve Memorial Union, 748 Algoma Blvd. One additional suspect was driving the getaway vehicle. The involved suspects are not in custody.
The suspects targeted an ATM security guard exchanging money. The suspects fled in vehicle traveling away from campus in an older style, rounded front, tan 4-door car.
The suspects are described as:
- A white or mixed race male with black jacket, blue jeans, gray hoodie and a brown ski mask with a hand gun.
- A black male with dark clothing, a dark hoodie, red and white Adidas shoes with a hand gun.
- A white or mixed race male was driving the vehicle.
The incident is believed to be a fourth in a series of events. The other three robberies occurred in the Madison area. Authorities statewide have been alerted since the suspects are believed to have traveled outside the immediate area.
UW Oshkosh Police do not believe students were at risk following the robbery. The campus remained open and campus updates were provided as quickly as possible, Oshkosh Police Chief Kurt Leibold said.
