Palmeri wins Mayor seat; Poeschl, Allison-Aasby, and Krause win Council


With 100% of Oshkosh precincts reporting, the unofficial vote count has Lori Palmeri winning the Oshkosh Mayor seat over Steve Cummings by a vote of 4,681 to 4,359. Palmeri becomes Oshkosh’s first female elected Mayor since the city moved to directly elect the position.

With three seats up for election on the Oshkosh Common Council, current councilors Deb Allison-Aasby (5,012 votes) and Jake Krause (4,014) will be joined by challenger Bob Poeschl (4,708). Tom Pech, Jr. and Robert Wilcox were defeated.

The Neenah school referendum was defeated by 497 votes.
