The Thursday evening event will take place in downtown Oshkosh at Opera House Square Park.
A group of Downtown Oshkosh businesses and community organizations have organized a new Thursday evening event called Oshkosh Into the Night, with the first event set for May 23, 2019.
Oshkosh Into the Night is being billed as a celebration of live art performance and local artisan craftwork. Ariel dancers and fire performance artists will be joined by local producers of craft beer and wine for the evening. Vendors will have faire-like booths set up, with food tents offering local cuisine.
“Think of Oshkosh Into the Night as a combination of an art faire and a Cirque du Soleil-style event,” explained Chanda Anderson, who is serving on the event’s organizing committee.
This outdoor community event will run 5:00 – 9:00 P.M. and is free and open to the general public. For more information, visit Oshkosh Into the Night on Facebook.
The organizers are also planning a similar event for September 19, 2019.
