Oshkosh Food Co-op in co mode: Building site unveiled


Membership in the co-op has ballooned to 1035+ members

The Oshkosh Food Co-op has taken a major leap towards concrete reality with the announcement of their planned grocery site and the unveiling of a facility rendering.

The proposed project is a mixed use commercial / residential development situated at the southwest corner of Jackson and Pearl in the heart of Oshkosh, just off the Fox River.

The Oshkosh Food Cooperative is a member-owned and member-controlled business that operates for the mutual benefit of all members centered on great local food and a healthy community).

The cooperative adheres to seven internationally recognized principles, including:

  1. Voluntary and open membership
  2. Democratic member control
  3. Member economic participation
  4. Autonomy and independence
  5. Education, training and information
  6. Cooperation among cooperatives
  7. Concern for community
