O’Marro’s and Barley & Hops to host round 2 Brew Battles this weekend


Eight Northeast Wisconsin craft brewery beers will be facing off to advance to the Brew Battles Quarterfinals

March Madness craft beer style ramps up again this weekend, with O’Marro’s and Barley & Hops hosting a stellar lineup of Northeast Wisconsin craft beers this weekend.

The bracket match-ups include brews from Fox River Brewing (Oshkosh), Ahnapee Brewing (Algoma), Bare Bones Brewery (Oshkosh), Knuth Brewing (Ripon) and Badger State Brewing (Green Bay).

The other regions of Round 2 were played last weekend, with both the Fifth Ward Brewing (Oshkosh) and Knuth Brewing (Ripon) advancing two craft beers into the quarterfinals. You can see the results here.

Brew Battles places the craft beers of northeast Wisconsin in head to head tournament match-ups, with patrons at the host sites voting on their favorite brews. Each beverage purchase of $3 or more gets you a vote, and the brew with the most votes advances to the next round.

The Brew Battles Quarterfinals are scheduled for March 22-23 at the Granary and Dublins.
