Grammy winner Gladys Knight to perform at Menominee Nation Arena

Seven-time Grammy winner Gladys Knight will appear for one performance only at the Menominee Nation Arena on Saturday, February 24, 2018.  The vocal star of pop, gospel, R&B and soul joins a growing list of national acts that the arena has slated for 2018.

“I’ve said all along that entertainment would be a big part of our operation,” said arena Managing General Partner Greg Pierce, “Adding Gladys Knight to our schedule shows our commitment to providing first-class entertainment in our venue.”

Tickets to the 7:30 p.m. performance will go on pre-sale Wednesday, December 13, at 11 a.m, and to the general public on Friday, December 15, at 11 a.m.

Known as the “Empress of Soul,” Gladys Knight debuted her first album with Gladys Knight & the Pips at the tender age of 16. They hit with songs like “I Heard it Through the Grapevine,” but it was the No. 1 smash, “Midnight Train to Georgia” that established the group as a premier world-wide sensation.

In all, Knight has recorded more than 38 albums, including four solo albums in just the last decade. She earned her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame® in 1995, and the following year, Gladys Knight & the Pips were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame®.

Tickets will be available at the Menominee Nation Arena Box Office, and online at
