The Fox River Brewing Company released its first ever canned beer in early this season, adding another dimension to the award winning brewery. Their “Hooked Golden Ale” was debuted in can on January 24, 2018 and is sold at both brewery locations in the Fox Valley as well as at Festival Foods grocery stores. The beer will also be available in draft form.

Jay Supple, the CEO of the Fox River Brewing Company, is excited about this big step for their brewery. With the start of the beer being sold in cans, “it is another building block to building the Fox River Brewing brand.”

This is big for Fox River Brewing because having a canned beer makes it a more versatile beverage instead of just being in bottles and in draft form. This allows their beer to be a better option for outdoor activities such as boating, fishing and tailgating.

“It is a nice addition to wholesalers for outside retail,” Supple says. “It opens up our options. Cans be sold at golf courses, outdoor events and other activities where in the past, the packaging was an issue with the bottles. This creates options for the consumers and puts Fox River Brewing company in a better position to serve the public’s wants.”

The Hooked Golden Ale was the official beer for Battle on Bago 2018.
