Cummings, Palmeri set to advance to mayoral general election

With 100% of precincts reporting, unofficial votes show incumbent Mayor Steve Cummings with 897 votes, followed closely by Deputy Mayor Lori Palmeri with 890. The close results may indicate a tight race in the upcoming weeks.

Nate Stiefvater garnered 479 votes, a strong showing for a political newcomers facing two very well established challenges who are both current elected officials.

The general election is April 2, 2019.
