Tap into this weekend with some fresh brews and new foods! Here are this weekend’s top picks from the Oshkosh Independent!

ONE. Come on down to the grand opening of Fletch’s Local Tap House! A new brewery in the Oshkosh area, Fletch’s Local Tap House has a wide variety of beers on tap with a very eclectic atmosphere. Also in the works is a beer garden coming soon! Grand opening is May 6. 566 N Main St.

TWO. The Backlot Comedy House hosts its weekly improv comedy night on Friday and Saturday! They know the improv game, but they don’t know the content. In this interactive improv night, the audience controls the comedy. You’ll only hear these jokes once so head on over for a night full of laughs! Event starts at 9 p.m. Event for ages 21 and older. 424 N Main St.

THREE. Are you more of a wine person than a beer person? Spend the day at Oshkosh’s Winefeast! A charity event where 100 percent of the proceeds go to the Boys and Girls Club, drink to a good cause and enjoy a wonderful night with great spirits. Cellar Select wine and food tasting starts at 4 p.m. and Winefeast wine and beer tasting starts at 7 p.m. and goes until 10 p.m. Saturday, April 29. 2 N Main St.

FOUR. Come get your weekly fix of fresh produce and live music at the Oshkosh Farmer’s Market. Pick up your cheeses, pasture-raised meats, veggies, and other goods to enhance your health and for a fresher take on your meals. On April 29, see Patti Friday perform live from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Event takes place every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Free admission. Farmer’s market located in the multi-purpose room in Merrill Middle School during the winter season. This is the last week that the farmer’s market will be at the winter location. 108 W New York Ave.

FIVE. Enjoy a weekend at Becket’s with some soulful tunes. Sit down for a nice dinner with live performances from Janet Planet and Mike Malone. Janet Planet performs on Friday, April 28 and Mike Malone performs Saturday, April 29. Both events start at 8 p.m. 2 Jackson St.
