Craft beer, live music and a charitable cause make Casks & Caskets an event you do not want to miss
The Hilton Garden Inn will be creative brewing central on Saturday, October 19, 2019 as host to Casks and Caskets Homebrew Event for Charity. An extensive array of locally crafted beers, wines and ciders will be served for tasting, accompanied by the fine sounds of Nature the Band.
The event runs from 7:30pm until 10:30pm, and is free to enter with souvenir tasting glasses available for purchase at the door. Door prizes, a silent auction, a brew contest and a costume contest combine to make this what the legendary Lee Reiherzer calls “Oshkosh’s most unique beer event.”
Casks and Caskets is hosted by the Society of Oshkosh Brewers with the intent to educate and inform about homebrewing, but more importantly, to show our value and interest in the community by raising money for a local charity, The Winnebagoland Hunger Network (formally, Oshkosh Area Hunger Task Force). Costumes are encouraged.
