Boys and Girls Club to host WineFeast 2017 celebration

WineFeast 2017, sponsored by FNB Fox Valley / Nicolet National Bank, is scheduled for Saturday, April 29th at 7 p.m. and will be held at the Best Western Premier Hotel and Convention Center. WineFeast is one of the biggest social events in Oshkosh with over 800 guests in attendance.

In response to the increasing demand for more reservations, more seats have been added to the popular Cellar Select dinner portion of the event. Cellar Select is a relaxing five-course dinner and wine-pairing event, which begins with a champagne reception promptly at 4 p.m. If you would like to make Cellar Select reservations, please contact Tracy Ogden at 920-233-1414, Ext. 16. Reservations cost $125 per person or a table of 8 costs $1,000.

During the Cellar Select dinner, guests enjoy an exciting live auction and a short program including an opportunity to hear a firsthand, mission-focused story on how the Club has impacted the lives of children and families.

Afterward, general WineFeast begins at 7 p.m., which provides guests with an opportunity to sample a diverse selection of over 100 fine wines and domestic and imported beers as well as sample delicious food prepared by the area’s most popular restaurants.  Guests can also bid on items in a unique silent auction with over 50 items.

General WineFeast tickets are on sale now and Customer Appreciation Discount prices are currently available at FNB Fox Valley in Oshkosh and Neenah; Festival Foods in Oshkosh and Neenah; and Blue Moose Convenient Stores in Oshkosh. Discounted prices are 1 for $75, 2 for $125 or 4 for $200 (a $100 savings!) Tickets are also available online through the Boys & Girls Club for $75 per ticket.

WineFeast will feature smooth jazz sounds from the Mike Kubicki Quartet.  A Grocery, Gas & Gear Raffle will take place with three $500 gift card grand prizes to Festival Foods, Blue Moose Stores and Scheels Sports, a Wines of the World raffle, a chocolate raffle and a cheese curd raffle.

“We have a lot of great packages for both our live and silent auctions this year. There are fun packages for everyone no matter what your interests are.” said Boys & Girls Club Development & Marketing Director, Tracy Ogden.

All proceeds from Cellar Select and WineFeast go to the Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh and directly benefit families and children in our community who most need the services the Club provides. This includes healthy meals and snacks, family fun nights focused on bringing families in our community together, homework help, basic needs support, one on one mentoring, and quality programming that focuses on STEM, staying active, and character and leadership skills.

WineFeast would not be possible without the generous support from area businesses, in-kind sponsors, and many donors and attendees throughout the Oshkosh community. “We commend our 2017 WineFeast sponsors for caring about kids in our community,” said Ogden. “Their support shows they truly care about the Oshkosh community, as their investment will help shape the great futures of our local youth.”
