Twenty-five Oshkosh restaurants will participate in Oshkosh’s 2nd annual Restaurant Week event Jan. 24-30.

“Oshkosh Restaurant Week is a seven-day event honoring our local restaurants,” Amy Albright, executive director of the Oshkosh Convention and Visitors Bureau, said. “We are celebrating with more than two dozen local restaurants that have come together to offer excellent food and service at special rates for one week only.”

Most participating restaurants will offer three-course, prix fixe menu options for lunch, dinner or both. The lunch option is $13 and the dinner option is $26. A limited number of restaurants are also offering an $11 breakfast option.

One dollar from every Restaurant Week meal purchased will be donated toward the Oshkosh CVB’s Eat for Art initiative.

“This initiative was created because we believe that the arts are the heartbeat of a vibrant city,” Albright said. “Our mission is to continue to improve our community through local art projects that promote tourism and quality of life in Oshkosh.”

The 25 participating restaurants include Bar 430, Becket’s, Benvenutos, Brooklyn Grill, Caramel Crisp, Carrot and Kale, Chester V’s, Dockside Tavern, Dublin’s Irish Pub, Fox River Brewing Co., Gardina’s, Granary, Ground Round at River’s Edge, The Howard, Lunch Box, Mahoney’s, Manila, Maple Pub, Primo, The Roxy, Ruby Owl, South of the Border, TJ’s Harbor, West End Pizza and ZaRonis.

The Oshkosh CVB was awarded a $15,000 Joint Effort Marketing (JEM) grant by the Wisconsin Department of Tourism to help expand marketing efforts during this year’s Oshkosh Restaurant Week.

“We are extremely thankful to the Wisconsin Department of Tourism for providing us with the JEM grant,” Albright said. “This grant will help us build off a successful first year and establish Oshkosh Restaurant Week as an annual celebration that our community and visitors can both enjoy.”

All patrons dining at the participating restaurants Jan. 24-30 can request an Oshkosh Restaurant Week menu. No tickets are necessary, but reservations are strongly recommended.

Menus and maps for all participating restaurants can be found on OshkoshEatWeek.com. Patrons who dine at one or more of the participating restaurants can win up to $200 in gift cards by filling out surveys about their experience.

Oshkosh Restaurant Week was created through collaboration between the Oshkosh CVB, Propel Oshkosh and Candeo Creative. Sponsors of Oshkosh Restaurant Week include the WI Dept. of Tourism, Steinert Printing, Society Insurance and Reinhart Food Service.
