This Wednesday, Nov. 26, the Grand Opera House will host the Interfaith Festival of Gratitude at 7 p.m.
This year will mark the fifth time the festival has been held at the Grand. More than a dozen faith traditions are planning to take the stage and share something about how they understand and express gratitude. According to festival organizer, Pastor Tom Willadsen, “There will be music and prayers, words and silence.”
This year a free-will offering will be received. Proceeds from the offering will support the interfaith home build that the local Habitat for Humanity chapter has scheduled for 2015.
There is no admission fee.
The New Moon Café, the Oshkosh Rotary Club and a number of faith communities in and around Oshkosh are sponsoring this year’s festival. The Grand is pleased to serve as host.
