Seventeen Oshkosh restaurants will participate in Oshkosh’s first Restaurant Week event Jan. 25-31.
“Oshkosh Restaurant Week is a week honoring our local restaurants,” said Amy Albright, executive director of the Oshkosh Convention and Visitors Bureau. “We are celebrating with numerous local restaurants that have come together to offer excellent food and service at special rates for one week only.”
Participating restaurants will offer three-course, prix fix menu options for lunch, dinner or both. The lunch option is $12 and the dinner option is $25.
The 17 participating restaurants include Becket’s, Brooklyn Grill, Chester V’s, Dockside Tavern, Fox River Brewing Co., Gardina’s Wine Bar and Cafe, Granary Brew Pub, Ground Round at River’s Edge, Manila Resto, Oshkosh Country Club, Paloma, Primo, Ruby Owl Tap Room, The Roxy, South of the Border, TJ’s Harbor Restaurant and ZaRonis. All patrons dining at the participating restaurants Jan. 25-31 can request an Oshkosh Restaurant Week menu.
“This event will entice locals to explore different Oshkosh restaurants,” Albright said. “It will also pique the curiosity and provide extra incentive for people from surrounding communities to visit Oshkosh.”
Menus and maps for all participating restaurants can be found on OshkoshEatWeek.com. Patrons who dine at one or more of the participating restaurants can win up to $200 in gift cards by filling out surveys about their experience.
“The plan is for Oshkosh Restaurant Week to be an annual event,” Albright said. “We expect many more restaurants to participate in the following years.”
Oshkosh Restaurant Week was created through collaboration between the Oshkosh Convention and Visitors Bureau, Propel Oshkosh and Candeo Creative. Major sponsors of Oshkosh Restaurant Week include Steinert Printing and Reinhart Food Service.
